Effective technology management synthesizes the best practices from all sides: Academic, practitioner, or technologist. Students, who are the best candidates for an entrepreneur, now must understand just how essential technology and innovation can be for delivering value to organizations and the marketplace.

The 7 Days MoT education-training seminar under NTIC is devoted to developing competitive MoT lecturers who can effectively teach students the core themes in the area of MoT.

In day 1, the expert, Mr. Kewal Pd. Bhandari, Member Secretary from National Planning Commission gave an insight of governmental and institutional policies about scientific technology and technology innovation in Nepal. The session revolved around the government policies regarding technology and innovation, international practice, current situation of Nepal and upcoming government plan on promoting and fostering science and technology-based innovation.

On day 2, expert Mr. Bishu KC, General Secretary, Intellectual Property Protection Society of Nepal (IPPSON) shared his knowledge and experience about following topics: The legal framework of intellectual property (Patent, trademark, trade secret and copyright) rights, Nepalese Law on the same, International Practice, current situation of Nepal and upcoming government plan on promoting and fostering IP rights.

On day 3, expert on the Technology Transfer Dr. Sanjeeb Maharjan, Program Coordinator of MSc. in Technology, Innovation and Management at IoE shared his knowledge and experience related to the topic.

Similarly, On Day 4, Professor Achuyt Wagle shared his decade long experience of effective teaching and learning methodology.

From day 5 to day 7, the trainee simulated the MoT class in presence of around 25 students and the simulation class reviewer Mr. Sashi Bhattarai, expert in Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP).
