Mushoor is a business working for delivering a hassle-free system and mechanism for their users that allows them to grow varieties of mushrooms and small plants without specific skill in their own home with the use of technology. They are also involved in producing compost specific for the production of the mushrooms themselves. The primary segments of the mushoor are the common households and the farmers who wish to grow mushrooms in-house. Mushoor has three main products. The major product is a small-space, climate-controlled device that can be used to grow mushrooms, micro-greens, and herbs. Climate-controlled means that it can maintain temperature, humidity, carbon dioxide, air circulation, filtration, and lighting conditions. The second major product is specially treated compost, which will ensure consistent and higher production. Third, Mushoor also sells fresh surplus harvests coming from the devices of its customers.
Mushoor was founded in 2021 by a group of students from IOE Pulchowk Campus in Nepal. Mushoor has a team of 14 members, composed of core team members and interns. The temporary office is based in Pulchowk, Lalitpur, Nepal. The primary mission of the company is to generate more automated and accessible solutions to the problems of today’s agricultural problems.
