Mr. Joseph Shrestha is a biomedical mechanical engineer. Mr. Shrestha has worked as Regional Marketing Director for a multinational company with a demonstrated history of working in the education, and waste management industry and involved in biomedical engineering repair maintenance of medical equipment. Since 2019 he has been the leading parent company of ECO Frost RVM Nepal which primarily works in Biomedical repair and maintenance support and supplier at Nepal army hospital SBH Skilled in Analytical Skills, Coaching, Event Management, Team Building, and Market Research. Mr. Joseph graduated from the University of Minnesota. With the market research in the agricultural sector of province 1, he finds out the major problem of agricultural produce wastage due to the unavailability of any cold storage facilities during the transportation and storage. This unavailability of a proper cold store facility motivates Mr. Shrestha to turn into a business opportunity and the idea of ECO Frost Nepal was initiated.

The business is focused on developing a low-cost solar-powered portable cold chamber for use in the rural VDC of Nepal. Small cold storage rooms with IoT enabled system which will give out SMS on different temperatures, how to use for different products, and time duration to store in it. This will in turn help reduce the agricultural waste and increase the value chain of the agricultural produce. The company is going to use modern technology with a water-infused cooling system along with advanced microchips to track the record of temperature as per the needs of the farmers.
