Nepal Technology Innovation Center (NTIC) is an autonomous body established at Kathmandu University (KU), Dhulikhel.  NTIC aims to provide a platform and support to researchers, innovators for their novel idea to enhance science and technology in Nepal and promote prototype based startup companies in Nepal. The initiative of this center is to provide access to recent equipment for all researchers and boost their growth in the industrialization and public services. NTIC also invest in research projects, provides training for skill development and equip them with cutting-edge technology. It is a center for research, innovation and business development, and common center for academia, industry, government, and multiple organizations.  It has an international standard research laboratories which provides the testing services in the field of agriculture, health and energy.

NTIC promotes the startup-based programs to deal with increasing demand for job creation and business incubation for the economic growth of Nepal. It also provides a short, certified courses/trainings in the field of innovation promotion, entrepreneurship development and technology management for researchers, entrepreneurs, and the general public who have experience in the field of technology. Its accredited research laboratories will be open to use for the researchers and scientific communities from the country.
