Background | The aKUa is developed service for delivering purified drinking water within the Kathmandu University in 2073 B.S .aKUa provides the service for delivering purified and quality drinking water to the students and faculty members at Kathmandu University at their preferred time and place. The organization aims to be the marketplace for its own selected water plans which comes under their terms and conditions. The organization primarily focuses on its marketing strategies offering water to the customers who require quality drinking water at their selected delivery time and place. The facility that aKua will utilize is located in Kathmandu University Dhulikhel, Kavre. Target market is a group of customers that has a similar need for a product or service, money to purchase the product or service, and willingness and ability to buy it. The target market of any company will never be everyone even though it may benefit everyone. aKUa water will employ direct distribution strategy with KU affiliated colleges, different schools (law, engineering, management, medical science, education, science and arts) and hostels of Kathmandu University. This distribution strategy will be executed by the Aquatic Ecology Centre i.e. the head office of aKUa itself. The availability of different bottle sizes (500ml, 1liter) and water jar (20liters) has provided an added benefit in the success of the product.
