Dr. Nani Raut is an Assistant Professor atDepartment of Environmental Science and Engineering at Kathmandu University. Her expertise includes soil ecology; agriculture & food security; greenhouse gas emissions from soil; and global environmental change. She has completed PhD from Norwegian University of Life Sciences, Norway in 2012, Master degree from Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand and Bachelor degree from Kathmandu University. She is the Head of Agriculture and Rural Development Unit of NTIC Center. She is also the Lead Project Coordinator of NORAD funded collaborative projects among Norway, Nepal, Pakistan and Bhutan. She has experience in interdisciplinary research from the South and Southeast asian region, especially from Pakistan, India, Nepal and Bhutan. She has more than two dozens of scientific publications in international peer reviewed journals.
