The Testing and Accreditation program at Integrated Rural Development Project/ Nepal technology Innovation Center (IRDP/NTIC) successfully organized five days International Lead Assessor training session starting from 21^st March 2022 till 25^th March 2022.

The 5 days long training was provided by Accreditation Education Research and Scientific Service Center Pvt. Ltd (AERSSC) as it provides a variety of Accreditation services to Conformity Assessment Bodies (CABs) in accordance with Standards published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).

The lead assessor training was important as it will help in accreditation of NTIC laboratories so that it can provide testing services in the future. This training will prepare human resources who will assist in the accreditation of NTIC laboratory and demonstrate their competence in certification, inspection and testing.

The training was provided to NTIC staff and the faculties of Kathmandu University. There were a total of 14 participants who attended the session.
